The latest assault occurred on Monday night, as the 70-year-old woman was walking her dog along Lyon Street about 6pm.
The man, who is described as having an Afro-style haircut, approached the woman from behind and indecently assaulted her, before running away.
Police said the first attack occurred on December 11, when a 20-year-old woman was entering her apartment on King Street, Mascot, about 10.30pm.
A NSW Police spokesman said a man approached her from behind and indecently assaulted her, before running away.
Nearly a month later, on January 4, a 49-year-old woman was retrieving something from her car parked on King Street when a man indecently assaulted her.
Police said the woman chased the man briefly, before she went home and reported the incident to police.
Detectives from the Botany Bay Local Area Command have released CCTV images of a man they would like to question over the assaults.
Police described him as being of Pacific Islander or Maori appearance, with an "Afro-style haircut". He was captured on camera wearing a white long-sleeve T-shirt and dark pants.
Anyone who recognises the man has been urged to contact Mascot Detectives on (02) 8338 7399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
