A 40-YEAR-OLD Baradine man and a 28-year-old from Coonabarabran will both appear in court after being charged with separate drug offences at the weekend.

About 8pm on Friday Coonabarabran Highway Patrol stopped a white Hyundai sedan driven by the Baradine man in the car park of the Shell Service Station at Coonabarabran.
The officers had observed the vehicle and noticed the occupant acting suspiciously.
A search was conducted and police located two large plastic parcels containing cannabis concealed within the glove box of the vehicle.
The man was arrested and charged with possess prohibited drug and will appear before Coonabarabran Local Court in April.
In a separate incident the 28-year-old was found in possession of methylamphetamine about at about 1.30pm on Sunday.
Highway Patrol officers stopped a black Ford utility on the Golden Highway near Cassilis, with a search of the vehicle uncovering a plastic bag containing an amount of the drug in a backpack.
The was charged with possess prohibited drug and will appear before Coonabarabran Local Court in April.
