The visitors snapped a photo of their encounter with a giraffe baby and its herd at Dubbo and posted it to social media.
The image was captured during a 14-day tour from Sydney to Brisbane and back by seven Rotaract members from different parts of the globe.
The East Coast Trip also took the group to Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Dorrigo, Byron Bay, Burleigh Heads, Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, Tamworth, Dubbo and the Blue Mountains and will wrap up in Sydney on Friday.
The six international Rotaract members included three Canadians, one UK ex-pat living in New Zealand, one Mexican and one Algerian-Belgian.
They were showed the Australian sights by Rotaract Club of the University of Technology Sydney president Courtney Krahe.
"In Dubbo we went to the zoo - we saw the animals being fed and the cute giraffes and rhinos," she said.
Their two-night stop at Dubbo, during which they were hosted in the homes of local Rotarians, also included a visit to the Old Dubbo Gaol.
On Monday night group members shared some of their experiences in Rotaract at an evening dinner attended by Dubbo's four Rotary clubs and the Rotaract Club of Dubbo City.
"So far I think the group members have loved it," Ms Krahe said.
"They've had a chance to surf and today they're doing the Coogee to Bondi walk."
Ms Krahe said the round trips were a great opportunity available in Rotaract, a global organisation for people aged 18 to 30.
