Ms Juju was born at Dubbo and spent much of her teenage years here, graduating from Delroy High School before embarking on a career in music that has seen her perform throughout Australia and overseas.
Ms Juju will be performing with her brother in their final gig of the year, and will be doing a more stripped-back show from their usual high-octane performance.
"We usually have a five or six-piece band but this will be just me and my brother," she said.
"It will be a more intimate performance and one we're really looking forward to doing.
"We have done a lot of rock 'n roll kind of shows before but this will be a bit different to that."
Ms Juju does not restrict her music to a specific genre, believing people can get different things out of it.
"There are a lot of throwbacks to soul and early RnB, and some people say its like the blues," she said.
"People get different things out of it and that is the great thing."
Ms Juju's last performance in Dubbo was at the 2013 Dubbo Jazz Festival and she was looking forward to returning to the city this weekend.
"Anywhere you've been you have different memories of, but we had some great times in Dubbo," she said.
"I was always in bands when I was at school and grew up in and around music."
Mojo Juju will perform at the RSL on Saturday with the show beginning at 8.30pm.
