Mr Hornby, who is the Quest Property Manager, set out on November 1 to do what he does at this time every year to grow a mo for Movember, raising awareness and funds for men’s health.
A bucket for donations was on the front counter at Quest for people to support Mr Hornby, which gradually filled over the course of the month.
Upon hearing what Mr Hornby was up to, Mr Verma said he would show support for his effort and match dollar for dollar what was in the bucket.
“I am more than happy to support what is a great effort by Steven and a great cause,” he said.
“At last count the money that has been donated is around the low $100s so I will be doubling that and am happy to do that.”
Mr Verma has been owner of Quest Dubbo for just over six weeks and has many years experience in hospitality.
