DESPITE his side not having won since the opening round of the season, CYMS captain Ryan Medley is extremely pleased with how his side is travelling.

The Cougars defeated Colts in round one but have followed that up with a draw against Macquarie and losses to Souths and Rugby.
Saturday is day one of their clash with Newtown and Medley believes success is not far away for his side.
"I'm not too concerned because we're playing positive cricket," he said.
"I can't see losing being a habit for us because we've got a bit on confidence and although we haven't won our performances have boosted our confidence."
Medley was full of praise for a number of his side's batsman, saying last weekend was the best he had ever seen Matt Ellis bat as the opener made his way to 55.
Youngsters Tom Nelson and Ben Knaggs have also impressed the skipper, who is now approaching the halfway point of his second season with the Cougars.
"The best part is I've seen that confidence grow and even in my short period with CYMS the guys have started batting with less fear and have gone out there and played their shots and are thinking about their game and now they're reaping the rewards."
The Cougars meet a Newtown side in a positive mood of their own after handing Souths their first loss of the season last week.
The Tigers are expected to be without Mat Skinner but the likes of Steve Skinner and Wayne Dunlop remain and have been big contributors for the Tigers so far this season.
"They have their plans and they sweat on you making the mistake or taking the risk," Medley said of his opponents.
"When they bat they're a bit the opposite, they bat with the intention of batting the day out and scoring 250-plus.
"I know Mat will probably be out but that doesn't make them too weak, they've got enough depth to be very competitive."
Something Medley was excited about for this match was the fact all the Cougars big guns are in.
The captain himself has missed plenty of action so far this season but he, Stuart Naden and Ben Strachan are all in for day one of the clash with the second-placed Tigers.
The action at No. 2 Oval begins at 1pm.
