Hughes followed up her incredible six-wicket haul on day with three wickets against the girls from the west as ACT/ NSW Country recording a commanding win.
Batting first, Hughes' side made 4-236 from their 40 overs with Rachel Trenaman's 118 not out the highlight.
Trenaman's 198-run partnership was a record at the level, following on from ACT/NSW Country setting the score for the highest team total on day one when they scored 6-329.
Following the effort with the bat, ACT/NSW Country were just as impressive with the ball, winning by more than 100 runs.
"Emma bowled really well today in shocking conditions," Emma's father Alan said from Hobart.
"It's got heaps worse and there's been some sleety rain and hail over the other side of the river and the covers came out once.
"But she bowled really well and wouldn't have gone for more than 10 from her five overs."
Queensland is up next for Hughes and her in-form teammates.
After two dominant wins in the first two days, Alan Hughes admitted there is a real positive mood around the camp.
"I'd say they're starting to think good things," he said.
"NSW Metro won it last year but they lost yesterday (Wednesday).
"The conditions have been really tough, the girls bowled a lot of wides today because of the wind but they're going really well.
"As they say, you don't want to count your chickens before they hatch and we said to Emma today 'forget about yesterday, it's a new game and you've just got to try and improve your performances'."
It would not have been easy for Emma to forget her day one efforts with the Macquarie junior the talk of the Championships after her brilliant bowling effort.
A hat-trick and six wickets is rarely seen at a national level and Emma was the talk of the carnival, even featuring on an online interview with MyCricket, the home of club cricket in Australia.
Emma described the feeling of taking a hat-trick as "amazing" and she will be hoping for more joy during the final six matches of the Championships.
