Andy Griffiths was once the lead singer in an imaginary band. Yes, you read that right. As a teenager who was at once extroverted and bookish, Griffiths came across the works of rock stars like David Bowie and Alice Cooper in their prime, and found that what he really wanted to do was write song lyrics.
