Dressed in a little - or a lot of yellow - and moving to some energetic tunes, the crowd transformed Ollie Robbins Oval.
The women and men were there for Dance the Battle Together, held to raise awareness of depression, anxiety and post-natal depression.
The free event - held to coincide with Postnatal Depression Awareness Week - was organised by Tracy Hanna and Star FM's Juelz Jarry.
Ms Hanna, owner of Zumba with Tracy, said she suffered from depression and the idea for the event had come to her during a tough time.
She said she wanted to highlight the importance of physical exercise.
"It saved my life, I was at rock bottom and zumba helped me regain my confidence and rebuild my life," she said.
"I feel like I have to get it out there.
"If this helps one person today then it's been worthwhile."
As well as the zumba session, support services Headspace, UnitingCare Burnside and Dubbo Breastfeeding and Parenting Support Group had stands at the event.
