► Friday, October 23 - Rhinos Gala Night The 20th annual Rhino Awards will be held at the Dubbo RSL on October 23. The winners of the Silver Rhino, the Jean Emile Serisier winner and the prestigious Gold Rhino winner will be revealed. ► Saturday, October 24 - Free child restraint checking day Keep your kids safe on our roads. Have your vehicle’s child restraints correctly fitted and checked by an authorized professional fitter for free. Visit the Dubbo City Council Car Park on the corner of Darling and Church Street from 9am to 12 noon.
► Saturday, October 24 - Dubbo Holy Trinity Anglican Church Fete. Come along and purchase some homemade jams, cakes, plants and produce or sample a Devonshire tea, Sausage Sizzle or a milkshake. With Christmas just around the corner you may even wish to purchase something from the trash and treasure stall, book stall or Christmas decorations and craft stall. There is even a jumping castle for the children to enjoy.
► Saturday, October 24 - DREAM Festival Twilight Markets DREAM Twilight Markets will again be held in Dubbo’s beautiful Victoria Park, with a wide variety of pop up stalls, featuring a fantastic array of food, fashion, boutique beverages and vibrant art from Dubbo and the surrounding region. A chances to delight your senses with smells, sights, sounds, feel and tastes. The DREAM Twilight Markets offer local businesses and individuals the chance to showcase their products.
► Sunday, October 25 - Western Plains Orienteering Even will be held at the RAAF Base, entry via Palmer Street. The event will be run from 10am to 12.30pm with each course taking about 45 minutes to complete. Cost is $5 per person plus $2 for the hire stick. Wear running shoes and bring along a hat and waterbottle and watch to keep time. For further information email info@westernplainsorienteers.org.

► Monday, October 26 - Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society Buckingham Palace. Oliver Everett, who was Assistant Private Secretary to Prince Charles and Librarian at Windsor Castle for many years will present the history and grand treasures of this palace that has been at the heart of British Court Life since 1837. A light supper will follow the lecture and Oliver will be happy to answer questions. The event will start at 6.3- pm. Cost is $20 for non members. To be held at the Wesley Church Hall, Church Street Dubbo.
