Just ask the grid girls, who are always a very eye-catching presence behind pit lane and in the merchandise strip.
Sarah Godfrey and Carlie Shaipman were doing the hard yards behind the garages on Sunday before the Bathurst 1000 kicked off at 11am.
Clad in their leather pants, crop tops and heels, the pair posed for photo after photo for the eager crowds, comprised mainly of men, that surrounded them.
Ms Godfrey is as experienced as they come at Mount Panorama, with this year marking her sixth time as a grid girl, and she loves being one of the attractions for race fans.
“It’s great,” she said. “It is a great atmosphere around here in the lead-up to the big event.”
This is the first year at the Mount for Ms Shaipman, but being asked to be in photos every minute by fans has not fazed her.
“You get pretty used to it,” she said.
But there is more to these ladies than posing for photos at Bathurst once every 12 months.
Ms Godfrey is a TV presenter and a university student, while Ms Shaipman does a lot of modelling away from the track.
