A NSW Police Highway Patrol vehicle began to chase the bike about 10am Thursday after the rider avoided a stationary random breath test site at Coonabarabran.
Police pursued the motorcycle north along the Newell Highway where it was first clocked doing 193km/h in a 100km/h zone.
The motorcycle continued along the Oxley Highway towards Gunnedah and was then clocked at 219km/h.
Police terminated the pursuit due to the dangerous speed of the motorcycle, and as that happened the motorcycle slowed and drove into bushland where the rider was arrested.
The river, a 35-year-old from Tasmania, was charged with police pursuit (Skye's Law), two counts of driving at speed dangerous, two counts of exceeding the speed limit over 45km/h, driving while disqualified and using an unregistered and uninsured motorcycle.
He was refused bail ahead of a court appearance.
The black Suzuki GSXR1000 he was riding was also seized for three months.
