Described by Make A Wish as the "highlight of this year's social calendar", the lunch will be held at Dubbo Racecourse on Saturday October 17.
Dubbo Community Men's Shed has added their support to the event with special commemorative wooden platters which will be used at the lunch and then sold to raise money.
Make A Wish Dubbo president Karen McMullen said canapes and a glass of bubbly would be served on arrival.
"Patrons will then feast on a scrumptious meal while they are entertained by the St John's String Ensemble, the Palmer Street Singers, renowned vocalist Allyn Smith and the Red Earth Ukes," she said.
The mother of wish recipients, Michelle Thompson will speak about her experiences with Make A Wish.
"Get your group together, get your tickets and come along to support Make A Wish. Your support helps grant the wishes of children with life threatening conditions adding hope, strength and joy to their lives."
The $50 tickets for the lunch can be purchased from The Book Connection, or by contacting Make A Wish Dubbo secretary Sharyn Hunter on 0427 843 246 or rogerandsharyn@bigpond.com.
