Trainees enrolled in the Civil Construction Certificate III course have built six picnic tables for the local council pool.
The trainees took just over three weeks to build the outdoor furniture which has been donated to the Brewarrina Shire Council.
Acting Manager of Security Wayne Jacobson said Pool Manager Kevin Brown was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship.
"He was very appreciative of the picnic tables which will come in a lot of good use this summer," Mr Jacobson said.
"Mr Brown's looking forward to the next delivery.
"It's a great example of the trainees giving back to the community through their vocational training.
"It's a win-win for everyone.
"Many of the trainee's families in town will no doubt be proud when they use the picnic tables, and the trainees from the local district are equally proud to have their handiwork used by the locals."
