The entrants were competing for one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to audition for the 10th season of Australia's Next Top Model (ANTM).
About 200 supporters sat in the audience at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC) in the hope of seeing what could be the start of a successful modelling career for one of the entrants.
Season 10 of ANTM will be the "biggest audition search ever", according to Foxtel publicity, with producers "searching nationwide for a unique look and personality to be cast in Australia's most successful and iconic modelling reality show".
The audition process for the entrants was tough, with each girl required to sit an interview before being given the green light to audition for the judges on stage.
Each entrant was then set to have their moment to shine on stage, walking the walk in front of the four judges, Australian designer and ANTM judge Alex Perry, ANTM executive producer Amelia Fisk, Foxtel executive producer Helen Linthorne and Priscillas Modelling Agency agent Rick Matthew.
Before the auditions kicked off, Perry told the Daily Liberal he was looking for "beautiful, tall, gorgeous girls".
"We want tall, toned and athletic girls with beautiful skin, teeth and eyes," he said.
Asked why the ANTM team had chosen to hold an audition round in Dubbo, Perry said there were beautiful girls all over the country.
"Why not Dubbo?" he asked.
The entrants were dressed to impress the judges, which Perry said was not an underlying factor for success.
"I would prefer to see them completely scrubbed down, that's how you judge what a girl really looks like," he said.
The ability for entrants to be photogenic was crucial, with Perry revealing the next round of auditions would involve the entrants being "photographed, put on film and basically scrutinised".
After the audition, the judges announced there was six finalists from the audition, Chelsey Billinghurt, Olivia Deen, Rachel Wykes, Nakita Robinson, Kaitlen Dodd and Jamirae McKean.
It was revealed on Tuesday morning that Olivia Deen and Kaitlen Dodd would be progressing to the next round of auditions.
