ARTEXPRESS will be open to the public from 6pm, showcasing a selection of the best works submitted for the 2014 Higher School Certificate (HSC) Visual Arts course.
The top works in the state were selected for the main ARTEXPRESS exhibition held earlier in the year which gave curators from galleries across the state, including the WPCC, the opportunity to hand-pick pieces to place on display.
There were more than 30 works installed from past students across the state, including two from Dubbo.
Works submitted by ex-Dubbo College Senior Campus student Leila Kirkness, and former St John's College pupil Emilee Spargo were among those chosen to be showcased to the region.
WPCC education officer Karen Hagan said she expected exhibition attendees would fall in love with the pieces on display, which ranged across all forms of multimedia.
"There's everything from sculptures, print, ceramics, painting and video," Mrs Hagan said.
"ARTEXPRESS is a must-see for any student pursuing visual arts in the HSC."
Mrs Hagan described the exhibition as "extremely versatile".
"There's all different levels of diversity on show," she said.
Mrs Hagan said she expected the collection of works would inspire both art students and teachers in the region.
"In a way, it will give the students in particular something to aim for in their major projects," she said.
ARTEXPRESS will be on display at the WPCC until November 22.
