The school grounds were packed with supporters from various sporting clubs whether it be rugby league, union, soccer or AFL.
More than $150 was raised by the students, all of which would be donated directly to the Fight Cancer 'Back on Track' program which assists young Australians living with cancer.
While Buninyong principal Anne Van Dartel said she was impressed with the students' effort, she said she could not take the credit for the idea, which came from school captain Jacob Kerin-Bayer.
Jacob said the students had all enjoyed dressing up for the day to "help other kids fight cancer".
The die-hard Brisbane Broncos fan said he hoped the school would hold another Fight Cancer fundraiser later in the school year.
