Dubbo tasted success in the competition back in 2011 when local entrant, 22-year-old Yolanda Hodgson, made the top 10, and hopefuls from western NSW could be set to emulate her achievement.
Season 10 will be the "biggest audition search ever", according to Foxtel publicity, with producers "searching nationwide for a unique look and personality to be cast in Australia's most successful and iconic modelling reality show".
The open audition schedule begins on the Gold Coast on September 23 and will travel to Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and Perth.
Residents of Dubbo, Darwin, Townsville and Port Macquarie were invited to complete an application through the website www.FOX8.tv or enter via Star FM in Dubbo.
Contestants were required to be aged over 16 and be a minimum of 170cm tall.
"Audiences fell in love with Brittany Beattie, our diamond in the rough winner earlier this year and this season we are determined to go wherever we need to find someone equally stunning and unique - a girl who can work on an international level," Australia's Next Top Model host and judge Jennifer Hawkins said.
"Whether you are a farmer or truck driver we are coming for you.
"No stone will go unturned to find the next hidden beauty."
