In both the League Tag and first grade fixtures, the top two sides all season will fight it out for premiership glory.
The Spacemen face arch rivals Dubbo CYMS for the chance to win their 10th title, some 61 years after the first.
CYMS finished minor premiers and defeated the Spacemen 18-16 in the major semi-final two weeks ago.
As is the case with every Spacemen v CYMS match, Sunday’s clash is likely to be a tough encounter played in good spirit.
The Spacemen earned their spot in the grand final with a 28-20 over Wellington win in Forbes last Sunday.
While the Space Cats do not boast the history the Spacemen do, they are building their own in the right direction by qualifying for the inaugural League Tag grand final.
They did it the hard way with a double extra-time 8-4 victory over Nyngan last Sunday.
They gave the Westside Bunnies a real scare in the major semi-final, narrowly going down to the undefeated Dubbo side 18-16.
The Space Cats led early and looked set for an upset win before the Bunnies scored 18 points in the final nine minutes to win through to this Sunday’s decider.
The Westside women have been a standout this season, winning the minor premiership with the incredible record of 12 wins, 396 points for and just 26 against.
The Space Cats are the only side to have troubled the Bunnies and will hope to continue that trend again on Sunday.
The League Tag grand final kicks off at 10am at Caltex Park, Dubbo, this Sunday.
