Life Education teaches students about making safer and healthier choices through education, offering students the capacity to learn about positive lifestyles to say no to drugs.
Healthy Harold's new van was launched by Dubbo state MP Troy Grant and Life Education NSW chairman Alan Cadman.
Mr Grant said he still had fond memories from when Healthy Harold visited his school and he remembered the positive impact it had on his life choices.
"I'm supportive of the good work that the educators do in this field and am pleased that the NSW government could come to the table to help out with funding the upgrade of the fleet of vans," he said.
"I'm particularly impressed that Life Education in partnership with the NSW government and the Disabled Children's Foundation have been able to install a wheelchair lift to allow better access to the van and enjoy its educational benefits."
In NSW, more than 280,000 students in 1,200 schools take part in the Life Education Healthy Harold program each year.
"I encourage schools throughout the electorate and across NSW to take up the opportunity and make use of this important educational facility by participating in the Healthy Harold program," Mr Grant said.
