Some majestic cars and bikes were on display for enthusiasts and novices alike to look over, while the general bric-a-brac kept people hunting for bargains.
Macquarie Lions Club Swap Meet Chairman Hugh Hopkins was pleased to see the regular site holders return while also introduce some new clubs and businesses to the day.
"This is the 24th year we've done it and its always a great event," he said.
"I know there are a lot of people here when the car park is full and we are very nearly there and its only early on.
"There is something on offer for everyone and that is the beauty of the day."
Dubbo local Phil Jones showed off his 1965 Ford Mustang which had many people passing by looking on with great interest.
"I've had this since new, I used to own more cars but not at the moment so I'm looking to start (collecting) again," he said.
"It's a great opportunity to see some lovely cars, catch up with friends and talk to people who have a common interest.
"My car is for sale but it has to be the right offer."
Mr Hopkins moved to thank the organisers and Dubbo community for making the event successful again.
"All the money raised will be distributed to local charities by the club throughout Dubbo which is great," he said.
"The deaf and hearing impaired group and Lions have done the catering, the rescue squad has taken care of the parking and of course everyone coming out here today has been great."
