They have answered a call for help from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service concerned about a drop-off in donors at the Dubbo Donor Centre because of a "late peak in the flu season".
Among the 60 was John Fernance who made his 18th donation in a week when it was much needed.
He regards regular donations as a way to "give back to the community".
"It's just half an hour of my time every three months," Mr Fernance said.
"It's easy really."
The blood service continues to ask the community for help.
"We're still looking for additional donors in the coming week to combat the cold and flu shortage," its spokeswoman said.
The campaign to fill donation gaps involves the distribution of the best biscuit in the nation.
"We believe it's the best biscuit because it's the only one that saves lives," the spokeswoman said.
