The Dubbo Aboriginal and Multicultural Cancer Support (AMCS) Group set up a stall in Dubbo Square, while Coles staff were also selling fundraising merchandise to mark the twentieth Daffodil Day.
Hundreds of daffodils were snapped up, while footballs and teddy bears were also flying off the tables.
"These guys just love doing any fundraisers," store manager Matthew Grundy said.
"We love to jump on board and support it."
Dubbo AMCS group member MaryAnn Seymour said there had been a huge show of support from Dubbo shoppers.
"It's really good to see," Ms Seymour said.
"I think because we are out of the city, people really need that support."
Chocolates were also on offer, to raise money for the group's local work.
"We support a lot of people in the community with cultural and emotional support and advice on their cancer journey," Ms Seymour said.
