The St John's College students have created everything from a kitchen island to a guitar for their major assessment, and were setting up the finished products on Wednesday ahead of external examiners coming to assess their work.
Teacher Mark Scullard said the works were almost a year in the making, and he was extremely proud of the students' efforts. "It's a fair, decent amount. I think they're wonderful, they were very organised," Mr Scullard said.
"They spent the last four weeks [of 2014] planning and then they got the timber in and started the practical development of it."
"It's all about problem solving, learning about the properties of timber, learning how to use the tools and materials and how to apply them to the timber."
The seventeen students, who made up one of the biggest classes St John's has had undertake industrial technology for their HSC, held a showcase on Wednesday night to show family, friends and classmates the fruits of their labour.
A number of local businesses had also provided a great deal of support to the students, and the showcase was a chance for the students to thank them for their assistance.
