The club's 54-24 win over Nyngan on Sunday cemented their place in the top five, meaning they will join the red and greens' reserve grade and league tag sides in the final four-week battle for the various premierships.
While there is still a Group 11 discipline hearing to get through in relation to an incident from their clash with Macquarie two weeks ago, Fuller said he is keen to focus on the positives of what his club has brought to rugby league over the past two years.
"We've put a lot of work in to try and be a competitive club on the field, and an inclusive club off the field," Fuller said.
"Last year when we came back we had to find our feet and we went okay but this year we were able to recruit well and we're in a good position.
"Our first grade side has done well to make the finals, our reserve graders have been good all year and our womens league tag are unbeaten.
"They all train together and do the same drills and I think that shows the kind of club we have. Everyone gets involved to help each other out."
That extends to off the field as well, where the club has a large band of helpers that ensure game day goes off without a hitch.
"Some of the girls are here about 7.30am to set up the canteen and the bar, and other people come and set up the ground," Fuller said.
"By having that kind of help it means the players can just worry about playing football.
"Sometimes when you start from scratch with a club it can take a few years to get things going properly but we've done pretty well in two years. We have some work to do with our under-18s but those kids will be coming through in the next year or two and that will start to build itself up.
"We've got a lot of players on our books and it isn't always possible to give everyone a run every week, particularly in reserve grade. But our players don't whinge if they have to miss a week, they just turn up and help out how they can."
With fifth spot on the Group 11 ladder locked up, Westside's clash with Wellington at Kennard Park won't have a bearing on the Rabbitohs' fortunes.
But with Wellington hanging on to third place, they need a win to guarantee a second chance through the finals series.
Stand-in Westside skipper Dylan Hill said the match will still be important for his team as they enter the post-season, and a knockout meeting with either Forbes or the Cowboys in week one of the finals.
"We might have to play Wellington at some stage through the finals so we don't want to go out next week and let them put it over us," Hill said.
"We know we're fifth and that isn't going to change, but this game is a good chance for us to test ourselves at semi-final intensity because Wello will want to finish third so they will come out hard."
