Man in court after being found with firearms and ice
A man will appear in court today after allegedly being found in possession of firearms and the drug ice.

About 1.20pm on Thursday, police stopped a car on Minore Road, Dubbo, and spoke with the male driver.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized a .22 calibre semi-automatic shortened rifle, a .303 calibre bolt action shortened rifle, ammunition and ice,
The 29-year-old man was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with two counts of possess prohibited firearms, possess ammunition and possess prohibited drug.
He has been refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
Inquiries are continuing.
