ASTUTE Tamworth trainer Leon Davies will wait until Sunday night before he makes a decision on whether his handy filly Bowie's Babe lines up in Tuesday's $20,000 Kings Hall Jewellers Silver Goblet (1120m).

The race looms as a final chance for the region's two-year-olds to scoop a feature race in their juvenile season, and that fact looms large in the back of Davies' mind.
The filly finished third behind subsequent Wellington Boot winner Alart at Dubbo back in February and has built a record of one win and two minor placings from five starts.
Highlighting her consistency is the fact her two unplaced efforts have been fourth placings at Gunnedah and Scone.
"She's a filly I have a good opinion of and she hasn't really run any bad races so far," he said.
"I took her to Grafton during their carnival and she ran well behind a couple of smart ones and I'm mindful of busting her if the track at Dubbo is bottomless.
"But there's not too many good two-year-old races left before the season ends so I'll have a chat to her owner Brett Bowman and keep an eye on the weather and make a decision on Sunday night or Monday morning."
Bowie's Babe has drawn well in barrier five for Tuesday's event, while Davies' other runner Win Some More has drawn in barrier seven.
But the latter's connections will be hoping for some scratchings after she was made second emergency when the fields were released on Friday morning.
"If Win Some More gets a start she should run well. Her first run in a race was okay but I'd say at this stage that Bowie's Babe would be the pick of the two," Davies said.
"The race has a bit of depth to it though. There's a few in there that have won races and Darren Jones, who's riding Bowie's Babe if she starts, rode Iona Nicconi at its only start when it finished third and said he it should have won as well.
"I think we've probably been treated a bit harsh at the weights, and the topweight Brat Attack probably has as well, but we can't do anything about that."
As well as his two Goblet entrants, Davies - who has trained 25 winners so far during 2014/15 - will also line up two runners in the Pastoral Benchmark 65 Handicap (1420m).
St Luke comes back after a good run in the Grafton Guineas while Topmast, another Bowman-owned runner, will appreciate the wet conditions sure to be on offer.
"They should both be good chances in that race if they run up to their best form," he said.
"St Luke ran well up at Grafton but just ran out of puff a bit at the end, and Topmast has had some feet issues so the key to him is to get him on these soft tracks.
"He ran well enough first up and it would be good if either him or Bowie's Babe could win for Brett because he's tipped a fair bit of money into racing over the past year or two and he's become one of my main clients so it would be nice to get another win or two up for him."
