THEY may currently be in the lowly position of seventh on the Group 11 ladder but Macquarie coach Guy Meredith is adamant his side haven't given up on their 2015 season.

The Raiders have shown glimpses of brilliance in 2015 but their inconsistency, mixed with a number of injuries and suspensions, has seen them only record three wins this season.
After last week's loss to CYMS, Macquarie make the daunting trip to Pioneer Oval tomorrow to take on the second-placed Parkes Spacemen.
Meredith is well aware his side are the big underdogs but was hopeful his side could use that to their advantage.
"It's a bit unfortunate we're playing first and then second but no one expects us to win and often when teams aren't expected to do well they're the games where they can turn the tables," he said.
"Often those teams can do the unexpected."
Fullback Norman Button looks set to miss out with an ongoing shoulder injury but Perry Meredith and Matthew Walker are expected to play, despite their own fitness worries.
Those two will be crucial figures in the back row in the absence of Brody Chapman.
While he again has some injury concerns, the coach said the fact Chris Daley and Claude Gordon were gelling in the halves was a big positive in the lead up to the match against the powerful Parkes side.
"Chrissy is super keen and wants to make that number six jersey his and Claude was good last week," he said.
"We're going to miss Brodie Chapman, it's his turn to work at the mines this week, so we'll miss him in the second row but I don't think we lose much with Mason moving to fullback and Wade in the nine."
Mason Williams, arguably the Raiders best player this season, reverts back to the number one jersey in the absence of Button while Meredith couldn't speak highly enough of under-18s player Kavanagh, who will slot in at hooker.
"Steven Leaske might get a run too and while we haven't had the best luck with injuries and bloody suspensions we have had some good kids come through and that's what it's all about," he said.
"We're rebuilding and next year the likes of (Phil) Combridge, Leaske and Kavanagh will really benefit."
While excited about the potential in his side, Meredith said in no way did that mean he was giving up on this season.
"We're going to have a crack, I think some mathematics has got to come into it and go in our favour but it would be nice to beat Parkes and then go to Nyngan," he said.
"The games against Nyngan and Westside are ones we've got to win.
"We'd love to sneak into fifth because we think we could upset some people from there.
"The likelihood and probability of that I'm not too sure about but wall we can do is win our games."
The action at Parkes begins with the under-18s at 11.30, followed by reserves and the main game is expected to kick off at 2.30pm.
