IN a bid to raise the profile of country NSW, Building Regional Australia are hosting a summit to Dubbo's Lazy River Estate on July 14, 15 and 16.

The summit will host a number of influential speakers in NSW who will share their thoughts on how the community should be examining its potential growth, along with site visits to prominent businesses in Dubbo and Narromine.
Building Regional Australia CEO Peter Bailey said the key to regional growth was through infrastructure, which would be the main point discussed at the summit.
"We really want to look at how we can develop the region and grow the community," Mr Bailey said.
Mr Bailey said there were a number of notable speakers attending the summit, including Parliamentary secretary for Regional and Rural Health Western NSW, Sarah Mitchell, Roger Fletcher, founder of Fletcher International Exports and Infrastructure NSW CEO Jim Betts.
Mr Bailey said Dubbo mayor Mathew Dickerson would be providing an update to attendees on the city's position in regards to regional growth.
Parkes MP Mark Coulton will be preparing to speak about the progress on the Inland Rail construction.
Touching back on the theme of infrastructure growth, Mr Bailey said he was looking forward to hearing the words of developer and owner of International cargo terminal at Toowoomba, John Wagner.
"He explored the idea of opening international exporting to China, which has grown into a massive business opportunity."
Mr Bailey said he believed the future of Dubbo's growth could like in the expansion of Dubbo airport to allow for foreign exports by jumbo jet.
"You could have products delivered to China within 72 hours."
Working closely with the summit sponsors, Regional Development Australia (RDA) Orana and QantasLink, Mr Bailey said he believed there was great opportunities for growth in the Orana region.
"What the region needs to do is create those opportunities," he said.
Mr Bailey said Building Regional Australia was encouraging community members to attend the three-day summit.
