CATHERINE Fuller, who has finished second in Dubbo Cycle Club's two most recent club road races, atoned for her run of minor placing's by taking out Saturday's 38.2 kilometre handicap event, which was held on the Mogriguy Road course.

Fuller outstayed her daughter, Haylee Fuller, whose solid form saw her rewarded with yet another podium finish, while Jason Canobie out rode his zero-minute-handicap group to finish third and claim his first podium finish for the season.
Catherine Fuller's race winning time was one hour 15 minutes and 29 seconds (including a handicap of six minutes) and she averaged 32.99 kilometres per hour across the 38.2km event.
Brodie Wheeler (zero-minute handicap) finished fourth, with a group consisting of Michael Ticehurst, Darrell Wheeler (24-minute handicap), Evan Goodstat, Tim Hines, Adam Mitchell and Greg Willmot (24-minute handicap) crossing the line shortly after.
A short distance beyond that group was David Gerrish, Matt Singh, Chris Couper and Gary Barber, who crossed the line 11th to 14th respectively, while Zara and Michelle Fuller and Lachlan and Ann Clark shared the remaining 74 points on offer for Saturday's event.
Ticehurst and Goodstat, both with a 26-minute handicap, covered the course in 56 minutes and one second (average speed 40.92km/h) and were just one second ahead of Hines and Mitchell, both also with a 26-minute handicap.
With Dylan Eather racing at the Wagga Junior Tour, Darrell Wheeler again jumped ahead of the youngster to sit atop the overall point score standings, while Haylee Fuller (third) and Catherine Fuller (fourth) now sit in the top five.
Next Saturday, Dubbo Cycle Club will hold senior road racing on the 50km Wongarbon course, while on Sunday junior road racing will be conducted on the Sheraton Road course.
Dubbo Cycle Club will also play host to three champion cyclists on Saturday night, with Olympic gold medallist Stephen Wooldridge, junior world track champion Megan Dunn and Brad McGee, one of only two Australian's to wear the leaders jersey in all three grand tours, in town to support the club's fundraising dinner and auction at Club Dubbo.
This event will assist Darrell Wheeler, who has qualified for the World Masters Track Championships in Manchester in October, as well as a development fund for the club's junior talent.
