The Flavours of the Farm workshop included Collie producers Jo and Craig Stewart, known as the Gourmet Goat Lady and Orange brewer Jon Shiner from Badlands Brewery.
The Stewarts are an Australian farming family, who produce high quality goat meat.
Ms Stewart said the event was a great opportunity to showcase the goat in various ways, with Lazy River Estate's head chef specifically designing recipes.
"The head chef created a lime and chili goat burger, a citrus goat salad cup and smoked goat with beetroot and cucumber. People can now go home and try it themselves," she said.
Mr Shiner has been brewing for 17 years, but has been a commercial brewer for five years. "It was a great turnout, people were asking me questions such as what got me into brewing and about the different beers. I also sold a few beers on the day too, which was great," he said.
Lazy River functions and events co-ordinator Kelly Reynolds said it was a successful turn out.
Ms Reynolds said she wasn't a beer drinker, nor had she ever tried goat before, but couldn't speak highly enough of the two products.
Not only were people treated to a scrumptious meal, they also took the opportunity to ask the producers questions about their local products.
