Beahan, in just his second game with the club after coming across for the Blayney Bears in Group 10, looked dangerous every time he got the ball for the Raiders as they won an entertaining clash at Caltex Park.
Cobar, severely undermanned with most of their players playing both reserves and first grade, got within six points at one stage in the second half but they tired late in the match as the Raiders ran away with it.
"It's good to get a win behind us, there's lots of positives and a few negatives but we'll take the positives and we'll take the win," Macquarie coach Guy Meredith said.
"The new guys, Kurt Beahan and Anthony Toomey, were really good but young guys like Phil Combridge and Wade Kavanagh were fantastic."
Forty-four points were scored in the first half with Kavanagh setting up two after starting on the bench while Macquarie's Matthew Walker and Cobar's Michael Tahitua also spent time in the sin bin following an early scuffle.
The Raiders, in their special Give Me 5 For Kids jerseys which were auctioned off after the game, came out after the break up 28-16 but on the back of three penalties the Roosters went over through Ngamanu Winitana.
But Ash Widders then crossed for Macquarie before Claude Gordon did it all himself in getting across the line and Beahan then powered across to make it 46-22.
Cobar fullback Tim Hillam scored following some neat play before Beahan took and intercept and ran 70 metres to seal his hat-trick.
"The second half we didn't have too much football so we've got to get those penalties out of the game because it gives the other side too much ball," Meredith said.
"You've got to keep the ball and we're not doing that but I'm happy with the win."
Cobar coach Nathan Graham said despite suffering another loss he was proud of his team's effort.
"There's not too much to be disappointed about," he said.
"I think we had 18 blokes today who played both grades.
"The scoreline probably reflected the fatigue at the end but for a good part of the game we were right in it so it's not completely disappointing.
"There's plenty of positives but a lot of guys played 160 minutes of football with a few injuries too. It's not an easy road trip every second week but we've got to stick with it and keep turning up."
DUBBO MACQUARIE 52 (Kurt Beahan 3, Brody Chapman 2, Rowan Orcher, Ash Widders, Norman Button, Claude Gordon; Mason Williams 8 goals) defeated COBAR ROOSTERS 32 (Michael Tahitua 2, Tim Winitana, Tim Hillam, Suka Fakahua, Ngamanu Winitana tries; Wade Potter 3, Fakahua goals)
