Local pilots can improve their aviation knowledge and get the latest news on safety at the special briefing.
Issues to be covered include the transition to new pilot licences, ageing aircraft, weather forecasts, communicating with air traffic control and lessons from accidents.
The briefing for the Dubbo pilots is part of a national aviation safety education campaign, which CASA's spokesperson, Peter Gibson, believes will greatly benefit any pilots that attend.
"CASA places a high priority on delivering face-to-face education and support for pilots, particularly in regional Australia," Mr Gibson said.
"There are important changes being made to improve aviation safety in Australia and all pilots need the latest information.
"We want pilots to have the opportunity to ask as many questions as possible and provide feedback so we can get the best possible safety outcomes."
At the workshop, pilots will be encouraged to raise local air safety issues, ask questions and provide feedback to CASA.
People attending are asked to book online through www.casa.gov.au/avsafety and the workshop is on Tuesday, 6pm at the Dubbo Aero Club.
