Dubbo FC 1, the defending premiers, are sitting pretty at the top of the ladder after dismantling South Dubbo Wanderers (SDW) 2 on their way to an 11-0 victory.
The Bulls are locked on 11 points with Orana Spurs 1 in first spot but the defending premiers have a game in hand, a derby against Dubbo FC 2.
Sunday's win keeps the Bulls undefeated run alive while SDW 2 remain languishing towards the bottom, still without a win.
In other round seven matches, things weren't so good for Dubbo FC 2 as they slumped to a 3-2 loss against EDU.
The Macquarie United club hold on to positions three and four on the ladder after both their sides recorded impressive wins.
Macquarie United 2 remain third after cruising past Wellington 4-1 while Macquarie United 2 crushed Newtown 8-0.
SDW 1 stayed fifth after a 2-0 win over Westside.
In the final match of the round, Orana Spurs 1 ensured they kept the pressure on the Bulls with a 9-0 derby win over Orana Spurs 2.
While the Bulls are likely to move clear at the top with a win over Dubbo FC 2, Spurs are shaping as a serious contender this year.
In eight matches they have scored an awesome 84 goals, 33 more than the red-hot Bulls.
Considering they only scored one goal against the Bulls when they met up, they are averaging more than 11 goals in every other match they have played so far in 2015.
There are only three rounds remaining now until the competition is split into two divisions.
This weekend Dubbo FC 1 face Newtown, Orana Spurs 1 plat the third-placed Macquarie United 2 while Macquarie United 1 play Orana Spurs 2.
Wellington play host to Dubbo FC 2 while SDW 1 and 2 play EDU and Westside respectively.
