Saturday, June 6 - Dubbo Farmers’ Markets at the Macquarie Lions Park from 8am to 12pm. The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award-winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinades, honey, wine, nuts and so much more. The wet weather venue for the Farmers’ Markets is the RSL Club Resort Carpark, located in Brisbane St.
Saturday, June 6 - Old Dubbo Gaol Night Tours at 6:30pm. Fun for all ages, step back in time and become prisoners of Old Dubbo Gaol. The warden will take you through the gaol and you may even meet a fellow prisoner. If you are feeling brave book in for the Beyond the Grave Night Tour. Take a tour through the dark history of the gaol while using EMF readers to try and contact any spirits that may still linger within the walls. Ticket prices start at $20. Bookings are essential.
Saturday, June 6 - Beccy Cole Sweet Rebecca tour at the Dubbo RSL Club Resort at 8pm. Country songstress Beccy Cole is back with her new album, Sweet Rebecca. The Adelaide-born star’s glowing warmth, honeyed voice, bawdy sense of humour and perpetual smile have helped make Beccy one of the nation’s best loved and most celebrated artists. Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children.
Saturday, June 6 - Quizzame at the Dubbo RSL Club Resort Sports Bar at 7:30pm. Come along and play interactive trivia with no pens or paper - all the fun with the buzzers. Entry is free and plenty of prizes are up for grabs throughout the night.
Sunday, June 7 - Lazy River’s Pop Up Markets at Lazy River Estate from 10am to 2pm. While it rained on Lazy River’s parade last weekend, here’s hoping round two of the markets are not washed away. You can find handmade jewellery, art, collectables and more. Admission and parking are free. Bring a blanket, spread out on the lawn and enjoy antipasto platters and a beverage or two.
