Tim Griffiths' men were good last week despite going down 74-59, and this match against the Gunners presents a good opportunity for the side to get back in the winner's circle.
Canberra have won five games from 11 starts so far this season, but Saturday's match marks just the second time they have played away from either Belconnen, the Australian Institute of Sport or Queanbeyan.
Their only other road trip resulted in a loss to the high-flying Wagga Heat but it remains to be seen how many of their players are keen to make the four-hour trek to Dubbo.
The last time the two sides met was in Canberra, where the Gunners had five players score in double figures as they scored a massive 102-47 victory.
But facing Dubbo at home is always a much tougher task, especially as the season winds on and the side has been able to spend more time on court together.
For the Rams, this match marks their third last home game of the season as after Saturday they face away trips for five of their last seven matches of 2015.
Tip off for Saturday night's match will be 5pm.
Meanwhile, plans are in place for the Rams' annual fundraiser for local charity, the Pink Angels.
The team's June 27 home fixture against Queanbeyan will double as a pink night, with door takings and donations on the night all going to the breast cancer organisation.
A charity match will also be played prior to the main game, featuring members of the local ambulance and police.
The concept was first implemented last year, and proved to be a big success as local MP and former police officer Troy Grant switched sides and played for the ambos against a police side that featured Dubbo mayor Mathew Dickerson.
Anybody interested in donating can attend the match on the night or contact Dubbo Basketball Association.
