The progeny of Fancy Dish Licka, who won numerous times at Dubbo and also recorded wins at Wentworth Park and Kembla Grange, produced an eye-catching performance to take out the Dubbo Vet Hospital Maiden (318m).
It marked win number one in his third start and trainer Will Miller was delighted to see him break through.
"Third time, eventually, it was nice, I'm really happy and I didn't think he'd go that quick," he said.
"His mother was a pretty handy bitch out of the boxes and he came out well today and that's what got him there."
Trey Dish Licka jumped well from box six and got to the lead alongside Extreme Luck ($10.40), Part Of You ($2.60 favourite) and Joanie Cargo ($4.40).
Extreme Luck faded as they approached the bend and Trey Dish Licka hit the lead as he got past Part Of You.
From there the result was never in doubt as the two-year-old got to the front and never gave the rest of the field a sniff.
Trey Dish Licka went on to win by four lengths from Part Of You while Natey Boy ($13.90) ran home well for third.
"His first start he was very underdone and then I thought he might of got up at Bathurst on his second start but they were just too quick for him," Miller said.
"I thought this field would suit him and didn't think he'd get beaten. He proved me right so I'm pretty happy."
In a rare twilight meeting, Cowra's Paul Braddon came out on top in one of the feature races, the Blue's Meats Masters Stakes (318m).
Pre-race favourite Crash Connor's didn't disappoint, winning the $1290 event by three-and-a-quarter lengths from Kaiser King ($5.80) and Bow Dandie ($3.40).
Ron Steel was the standout in the Fancy Dean At Stud Stakes (400m), with Betsie Cargo ($4.50) and Susannah Cargo ($3.80) making it a one-two for the Wellington trainer.
Firebee ($3.40) was a hugely impressive winner in the Hudson Greyhound Wear Stakes (605m), winning by a commanding seven-and-three-quarter lengths from Bub And Sonia ($2.10) and Total Princess ($17.10), for trainer Neil Hudson.
