A line of motorbikes heading into Reading Cinemas on Friday night wasn't cause for alarm, but actually part of a ploy to raise money for a local organisation.

The Gilgandra Bikers Australia club were at the cinemas to raise money for the Buninyong special education department.
"It was good to see the reactions of people as we put the indicators on and drove through the door," Club chairperson William Brown said.
"It was generally just to show off the bikes, but for a gold coin donation you could sit on the bike and have a photo- look like a biker for a few minutes,"
The event at the cinemas raised $91 and in conjunction with the club's other fundraisers, Mr Brown said Buninyong would soon been receiving $500.
It wasn't the first time the club had been at the cinemas. Mr Brown said they had held a similar event previously for Orana Early Intervention.
"We try to get out there and do as much as we can. If there's organisation that needs something we're quite happy to help out and raise some money for them or give them something like an IGA voucher or something like that," Mr Brown said.
The club has also raised money for a new blood pressure monitor for the children's ward at Dubbo Hospital.
