Enforcers Billy Sing, Ainsley Coxsedge and Ilisoni Vonomateiratu are all out, leaving the Fishies short of some size up front.
Representative prop Jarryn Powyer will be tasked with leading the forwards around while Chris Barnett gets his chance in the starting line-up.
The second row of Alex Ronayne and Jordan Reynolds is a very mobile one while Ash Conn will be expected to add some punch from the bench.
Luke Jenkins will play at halfback after getting through his return from injury last week alright while the dangerous Fishies backline is again as expected.
Coach Tim Ryan admitted he was content drawing with Parkes last week but he will be keen to see his side return to winning ways in one of the toughest road trips in the competition.
The Roosters have shown glimpses of quality this season but still only have the one win to their name and last weekend slumped to a 44-24 loss when hosting the Forbes Magpies.

In other matches this round, the Forbes Magpies play host to the Wellington Cowboys in what is sure to be an exciting match.
The Magpies sit third, having only lost once in 2015, while Wellington have impressed so far in a season where many punters' expectations were low.
The Cowboys went within a whisker of handing CYMS their first loss of the season two weeks' ago before enjoying the bye last weekend.
Both teams are capable of piling on the points so defence may be the key but the Magpies will be confident of keeping their early season form going.
The final match of the round also shapes up as one not to miss with the Nyngan Tigers taking on competition leaders Parkes.
The Tigers produced one of their best performances last week in their win over Macquarie and that match was the perfect preparation for the clash against the clinical Spacemen.
All first grade matches kick off at 2.30pm.
