POLICE used capsicum spray to subdue a woman who allegedly used a skateboard to smash the windows of a Brewarrina house before trying to gain entry to the property while armed with shards of glass.

Officers were called to Waratah Street in the early hours of Monday where they found a 26-year-old woman who was yelling at the occupants of the house, police, her partner and children.
They apprehended the woman after she had broken the windows and tried to get inside the house armed with pieces of broken glass.
The woman was charged with destroy/damage property and affray.
She was granted bail to front Brewarrina Local Court on June 4.
