This will be the first time the cast of, The Beggars Sing The Seekers: A World of Their Own, will perform in Dubbo, and they hope it won't be their last.
From their early days in the Melbourne cafe scene in 1962 to London, the swinging centre of the pop universe, The Seekers were on a rollercoaster of hits.
Their 1968 BBC TV breakup special Farewell, The Seekers, was watched by millions and after a stellar 50-year career they still are as popular as ever.
Quinton Dunne, one-third of The Beggars trio along with Renee Donaghey and Stuart Day, said he owed a lot to The Seekers.
"They were on top of the world for four years," Dunne said.
A touring Australian group, Dunne said The Beggars had turned to The Seekers for inspiration when looking at the origins of their own sound.
"They were just a world-class vocal harmony," he said.
Dunne said this was The Beggars' third tour of Australia, having found a lot of success previously in Europe.
"We thought it was about time we paid tribute to ones who inspired us to get where we are today," he said.
While the trio plan to take the audience back in time to the reign of The Seekers, Dunne said they would also be sharing a selection of their own compositions.
"We're just hoping people will come and see what we have to offer," he said.
"You don't necessarily have to be a lover of The Seekers, more so accustomed to the folk and gospel sound."
