Produced by Shaun Parker & Company, the show is fusion of dance, singing, multimedia and comedy, and has been playing to sell-out crowds around the world.
"It's a very quirky festival piece," Ms Christof said.
"It really combines a whole lot of genres in the one snappy performance (no interval)."
The show references songs, movies and popular culture, while the sit-com-style set invites audience participation.
"The approach they use is that patrons going into the theatre are like a studio audience," Ms Christof said.
"It's a very contemporary piece and it's hilarious."
Despite the comedy, the performance has its poignant moments, and "is certain to create dialogue afterwards".
"It really touches on pertinent aspects of couple-dom and I'm sure that everyone will be able to relate to some aspect," she said.
The performance is the brain-child of choreographer, dancer and director by Shaun Parker, whose career has taken him across the world.
Blue Love will show at Dubbo for one night only, Saturday, May 9, from 8pm.
Parker will also host a two-hour workshop for actors, dancers and circus performers aged 14 years and over, on Friday, May 8, from 6pm.
The workshop is free for those with a ticket for the following night's show.
"The workshop will focus on shaping a story into a form, and how to give performances a structure, rhythm and flow," Ms Christof said.
