INTRUDERS have broken into a shed at Cobar Golf Course, stealing a golf cart and taking it on a joy ride.

It happened sometime on Friday night. Police say the golf cart was later found near the cemetery.
It was one of several vandalism incidents police were called to in Cobar at the weekend.
On Saturday night intruders cut a steel wire fence to gain access to a Cobar Shire Council depot on Blakey Street.
That same night, a vehicle drove through the gates of a waste depot on the Louth road.
A spokesperson for Darling River Local Area Command said an intruder or intruders tried to get into a storage shed but were unable to, however they stole an empty 200L drum.
