Robb's consistent performer Azarax led home a stable one-two in the Nyngan feature, beating Blades Of Glory, while down at Tomingley Picnics it was Uaroo, ridden by Dayne Hillier-Bennett which provided the stable with success.
Starting as a $2.50 favourite on course, Uaroo nosed out Steve's Gold ($9.00, Michael Gray) in a thrilling finish.
Out at Nyngan, Robb's cup success was backed up by a further two winners, giving the legendary horseman four victories for the day.
Hot 'N' Dusty ($4.20, Kazu Nakata) got the ball rolling when she scored by two-and-a-quarter lengths in the Maiden Plate (900m).
Two races later four-year-old Cloverleaf ($2.50 fav, Michael Hackett) continued the winning run when he took out the Class 1 Handicap (1100m), beating Stormy Angel ($21.00, Eleanor Webster-Hawes) by half-a-length.
In the cup, punters sent Blades Of Glory out as a $3.30 elect but they underestimated Azarax, which started at $5.00 with apprentice Martin Haley in the saddle.
The win was the 15th of Azarax's career and took the nine-year-old's career earnings past the $90,000 mark.
Meanwhile, Dubbo trainer Dar Lunn tasted success on the big Tamworth Cup program yesterday when Leaders Road overcame a wide run throughout to win the $25,000 Mornington Handicap (2100m).
With apprentice Adam Sewell replacing the injured Jacob Gilchrist, Leaders Road ($7.50) proved too tough for his rivals, beating Big Wheels ($8.00, Mitchell Bell) and Mullet Man ($5.50, Glenn Lynch).
The feature on the program, the $80,000 Tamworth Cup (1400m) was won by Tableaux, trained by Todd Howlett.
