But already powerhouse clubs Parkes United and Lithgow Panthers have set themselves up at the top of the ladder.
Parkes edged out Bathurst St Pat's 1-0 on Saturday to keep their unbeaten run going and set up a two-point lead at the top of the ladder.
A scrappy goal from Paige Hay with just 52 seconds was enough to get Parkes the win and move them to 16 points.
Boasting a defence which has allowed half as many goals as any other team in the top five, United are the only side to have claimed all available points from the first five rounds with four wins and the bye.
While Parkes were unable to apply the finishing touches to many of their attacking plays, the nil-all stalemate which lasted 69 minutes had just as much to do with some brilliant goalkeeping.
But Parkes' class eventually shone through with Hay striking the winner.
Panthers, who had the bye on the weekend, are second on 14 points after recording three wins and a draw from their opening four matches.
Bathurst City and Dubbo are next locked on 10 points after City recorded a dominant 4-1 win over local rivals Souths on Saturday.
Meg Booth, Andrea Seymour, Kelly Baker and Danielle Fisher all got on the scoresheet while Sarah Watterson recorded Souths' lone goal.
Souths, St Pat's and Orange Ex-Services, Dubbo's conquerors on Saturday, are all eight points and hot on tail of the top four.
While at the bottom of the ladder it's Lithgow Zig Zag and Confederates.
Those two sides met on Saturday and Zig Zag piled more misery on the Orange side, winning 4-0.
Confederates, still without a single point this season, were carved up by the Lithgow side with Millie Leard scoring a hat-trick for the home team.
Ngaire Lynch scored Zig Zag's other goal.
