To win, simply fill out the form below and tell us what Anzac Day means to you. Winners will be announced on April 22, and will be able to collect their tickets to the sleep-out from the Daily Liberal office.

FRIDAY: 4pm Gates open. World War One displays open for exhibition
6pm Parade featuring Light Horse display, Army and Air Cadets and the Dubbo Pipe Band
6.30pm Official opening
7pm Live music and entertainment, including Celia Pavey and The Bushwackers
9pm Historically significant movies and documentaries play on the big screen throughout the night
SATURDAY: 5am Reveille from the Bugler indicates it's time to assemble for the Dawn Service
5.45am Dawn service at the Cenotaph in Victoria Park
What to bring to the Sleep-Out
Do to space restrictions, you can bring one backpack or small bag each plus your sleeping gear (all bags and eskies will be checked by Security at the entrance gate). Some recommended items to bring are:
- Tickets
- Appropriate clothing/sleepwear
- Swag/sleeping mat/sleeping bag/pillow
- Cash (food, refreshments and souvenirs will be available on-site)
- Small amount of snack food
- Picnic blanket.
Terms and Conditions
No ticket, no entry to the Sleep-Out event;
No ticket sales at the gate (all tickets must be pre-purchased);
Age limit: All persons under the age of 18 attending the Sleep-Out must be accompanied by an adult;
Once confirmed, ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are available except as required by law;
The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the seller's and the venue's terms of admission;
Entry to the venue is at an individual’s own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dubbo City Council will not be responsible for any loss, damage, harm or injury arising from a participant’s entry to the event;
You may be denied entry into, or removed from, the event where there are reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions, or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired or adversely affecting the enjoyment of the event by others;
Smoking policy: Smoking is prohibited. The entire Regional Anzac Sleep-Out event is a smoke-free zone.
Security services at Victoria Park No. 1 Oval will cease at 6.30am, Saturday, 25 April 2015. Council will not be responsible for personal property after that time.
Photography: Council will not be seeking individual permission to film, record or photograph the event. All images acquired will be used for reporting and promotional purposes only.
Disabled access
The event will be fully accessible to mobility impaired and wheelchair patrons. This includes disabled parking bays, wheel-chair friendly entrance to the event, seating arrangements and event facilities.
Wet weather plan
All efforts will be made to ensure the event goes ahead, however if a large rain event occurs, all ticket-holders will be contacted via email and notified of the event’s cancellation by 9am on Thursday 23rd April. This will also be publicised online at dubbo.nsw.gov.au and dubbo.com.au and in local media where possible.
Entertainment will be transferred to Dubbo Showground in Wingewarra St, Dubbo, however the actual overnight Sleep-Out will not be proceed. There will be no ticket refunds.
