A Mudgee man has been charged with manufacturing prohibited drugs after an ongoing investigation by Mudgee detectives.

Last year local police formed Operation Rolex to investigate the production and supply of methylamphetamine in and around Mudgee.
A 53-year-old man and two women, aged 43 and 22, were charged as part of the investigation in March 2015.
On Thursday a 27-year-old man was arrested by police in Sydney’s CBD and taken to Surry Hills Police Station.
He was charged with knowingly take part in the manufacture of a prohibited drug, and manufacturing a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Central Local Court on Friday.
