A man who stole two bottles of rum from a bottle shop has been ordered to serve a 12-month good behaviour bond.

Geoffrey David Hodge appeared before Dubbo Local Court after stealing the items with a total value of $140.
He pleaded guilty to one charge of larceny and the court heard he had recently finished parole.
The offence carries a maximum penalty of jail.
The defence submitted Hodge had a lengthy history of substance abuse.
Since the offence he had gone back on the methadone program and stabilised, the court heard.
Hodge had expressed his remorse, the solicitor said.
Magistrate Andrew Eckhold said bottle shops at Dubbo were fighting a constant battle against such offences, to which Hodge answered 'yes'.
Hodge was convicted and given a 12-month good behaviour bond.
