Qantaslink have kindly donated two return flights from Dubbo to the Gold Coast and Dubbo City Council have donated $1000 spending money to be given away on the night to a lucky ticket holder.
Mayor of Dubbo Councillor Mathew Dickerson said that the donation shows how the event has captured the imagination of the whole community.
"I think it is wonderful that Qantaslink has shown support to the community that supports them, and in turn, someone in our community will be rewarded for supporting this special event," Cr Dickerson said.
Dubbo City Council's youth development officer Jason Yelverton said he was delighted at the donation of such an amazing prize.
"One lucky participant is going to get a lot of bang for their five bucks," Mr Yelverton said.
"The winner will not only get to be a part of an incredible experience at the Sleep-Out with first class musical acts and everything else on the program, but they will also get to take a trip to the Gold Coast," he said.
"We are expecting a large crowd," Mr Yelverton said.
"I strongly encourage people to purchase tickets to this very special event and to be eligible to go into the draw for the fantastic giveaway," Mr Yelverton said.
The 2015 Centenary of Anzac Regional Sleep-Out will be held at Victoria Park No. 1 Oval in Dubbo from 4pm, Friday 24 April culminating in the Anzac Day Dawn Service at 5.45am on Saturday, April 25.Tickets can be purchased online at www.dubbo.com.au. All tickets cost $5 plus booking fee.
