Friday, March 20, Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 - Rotax Pro Tour Round 2. Dubbo will welcome 250 competitors this weekend for Round 2 of the 2015 Rotax Pro Tour. See Australia’s best Go Kart racers battle it out at the Dubbo Kart Club on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Held at the Lincoln County Raceway, Newell Highway, Brocklehurst from 11am to 4pm each day.
Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 - Away by Wesley House Players staring at 7:30pm at Wesley Community Centre. Away by Michael Gow is one of the most widely produced plays in Australia and is frequently a part of the Higher School Certificate. Three Australian families go on holiday for Christmas in the sixties. Each family hopes to resolve family and personal issues that appear throughout the play.
Friday, March 20 - Denise Drysdale at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre at 7:30pm. One of Australia’s most enduring and recognised talents is undoubtedly the amazing Denise Drysdale. Denise, in a career that spans over forty years has touched the lives of millions, through various media, including television, radio, stage, recording and live appearances.
Friday, March 20 - Steve Grace at the Dubbo Showground Centenary Pavilion at 7pm. Australian singers Steve Grace and Skypilot will kick off the evening with a barbecue at 6pm followed by a free concert at 7pm.
Saturday, March 21- First Things First by Joseph Simons at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre at 8pm. Join award-winning performer Joseph Simons as he discovers the art of ‘getting used to it’. Now you can catch him live performing his own special brand of dance theatre, with his signature charm and wit. Following critically acclaimed seasons in Berlin and New York, Simons is thrilled to return home to bring First Things First to Australian Audiences.
Saturday, March 21 - Dubbo Farmer’s Markets at the Macquarie Lions Park from 8am to12pm.
Sunday, March 22 - Giant Slip N Slide on Douglas Mawson Drive from 9am to 6pm. Come slide on the 315 metres of fun along with food, stalls, rides, music all raising funds for the Multiple Scleroses Society.
Monday, March 23- Sky-Like Mind' - A Meditation Talk. Kelsang Dawa, a western Buddhist monk, will explain a simple yet profound meditation for overcoming distracting thoughts and experiencing the stillness of your mind. The talk will be held between 7 and 8pm tonight at Atma Healing, 69-79 Macquarie St, Dubbo Entry is by donation. For more details contact 4385 2609.
Friday, March 27 - Stopera: Broadway Melodies at the Macquarie Conservatorium. Saturday, March 28 - Simon & Garfunkel - The Concert at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. Saturday, March 28 - Titan Macquarie Mud Run at the Ollie Robbins Oval.
Wednesdays - The Senior Social Cards Club meets every week from 9.30am to 2pm at the Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre. Both men and women are welcome. Cost is $5 for the day.
